Topographic description of the area.

General outline of the natural properties of the surface.

According to the properties of the locality, the paradise consists of two completely different parts, both in their physical character and in terms of population, the richness of nature and, in general, according to the conditions that impede the conduct of military operations in it.

The approximate boundary between these two parts can be taken as the conventional metro station N. Miropol - Cape Romanov, far from the cape Romanov to the village of Bortkovo Rudnya, a tributary of the Tetereva river. Lysna, further to the Korostyshev metro station, the Teterev river and then again to the conventional metro station Rozhev - r. Dn5fpr near the city of Eieva, i.e. approximately along the EKev-7Zhitomr highway. The part of the region to the north of the indicated line is called Poland, and to the south - Ukraine.

The soil consists mostly of peat or sand, in the southwestern part of the region it is loamy, in places with some chernozem.

The highest points of this part of the region are sand hills, very reminiscent in appearance of coastal dunes.

They are located mainly in the form of individual mounds among swamps, or in the form of elongated ridges accompanying the flow of the river. The same bumps can be found among lions.

The most passable spaces have been cleared of forests for mudflows and arable fields; The most extensive spaces are in the middle and eastern parts of the region, while in the northwestern part of the region they are rare and small in size. Some of the rivers in this part of the region are navigable and raftable; It flows mainly slowly in low and marshy banks.

River valleys are often adjacent to dense forests and impassable swamps. R$ki increase the difficult passability of the district, which in the North-West. parts are already almost devoid of good communications. In the middle and eastern parts of the region there are significantly fewer swamps and swamps. There are more paths and they are of better quality.

From the above brief outline of the physical character of this part of the region, it is clear that Poland is almost unsuitable for conducting significant military operations in it, but provides many conveniences for waging a small war.

The southern part of the region, Ukraine, is an undulating, mostly rugged, but open surface, with the exception of the southeastern outskirts of the Kev province, which in terms of terrain is somewhat similar to the northern part, since here the terrain is low-lying and with the same sandy hills as in Poland.
