8) To no one else, but only to His Imperial Majesty himself, and among many other eminent ones, the same designated imperial and royal science was honored with their work and the butts of their highest person were shown better, it is unknown how much diligence, time, practice, loss and danger will be required until we reach perfect engineering science and while attacking and dieenz! and so and different samples of buildings with the mechanical needs belonging to them in everything, trying to learn and about the last of the entire extensive science before achieving so that everything in it can be thoroughly proven and put into action, and we will rejoice even more so as we are convinced that His Imperial Majesty is our all-merciful and gloriously worthy monarch for having in of the aforementioned sciences and high art, the highly enlightened himself will deign to judge its merits and decent rank. For this reason, for the sake of His Imperial Majesty, in the name of all the officers from the Engineering, I most earnestly ask that with his high mercy, he deigns to honor us, namely, everyone in seniority with an equal rank of artillery, with an equal rank.
